Meet Maria:

Maria Espino is a small business owner and she is the Chief Executive Officer & President of The Last Prophecy Gaming, Inc. Maria leads a team of 12 employees and manages approximately 40 contractors and freelancers. Her entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills have been instrumental in driving the success of her business.

In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Maria is a Senior Architect of Microsoft Cloud Technologies. Her expertise in this field has made her a valuable asset to the tech community, where she is known for her deep knowledge and innovative solutions. Maria's passion for technology extends to her role as a Microsoft 365 Evangelist, where she actively promotes the adoption and utilization of Microsoft 365 tools and services.

Maria prides herself in being an adoption specialist, dedicated to helping organizations and individuals embrace new technologies and maximize their potential. Her enthusiasm for technology adoption is matched by her commitment to advocacy. As a Cystic Fibrosis Patient and Advocate, Maria uses her platform to raise awareness and support for those affected by the condition.

The Last Prophecy Gaming is a multi-brand gaming organization that originated in the first MMO brought to the internet, Ultima Online, in October of 1997. The Last Prophecy Gaming has grown to amass over 5,000 gamers across over 50 games. In 2008, the company expanded to provide video game consulting services to major studios, offering programming, design, artistry, testers, and storytelling. With over 5,000 members worldwide, the company has access to specialized talent that is valuable to studios needing staff augmentation and assistance with character, world, and story arc building. The company also assists in video game production, providing directors, actors, stunt performers, production assistants, and production managers.

One of the largest contributions The Last Prophecy Gaming makes is giving back to the gaming community by mentoring young talent from middle school onward, promoting video game development and design as a viable and joyful career. The company speaks in middle schools and high schools to encourage students to see video games as more than just a pastime. The gaming community is maintained with a sense of belonging, inclusivity, and continuity, with various chapters active in 6 different MMOs and 2 MOBAs, always looking forward to the next big MMO.
