I have an account with a Microsoft 365 E3 and Power BI Pro license, as well as Excel Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel on the latest build, Version 2008 (Build 13127.21506).

 

According to the release notes the Pivot tables from Power BI dataset was released in January 2021:

However I still can't see the Get Data -> From Power BI or Insert Pivot Table -> From Power BI option.

 

What I have spotted is this, from the Power BI Docs:

 

Analyze in Excel for Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

 

"Users with specific Office SKUs can also connect to Power BI datasets from within Excel by using the Get Data feature in Excel. If your SKU does not support this feature, the Get Data menu option does not appear."

 

Is anyone aware of which SKUs are valid? According to earlier blog posts here Microsoft 365 E5 was no longer a requirement? carlosotero ?
