The most useful words in this blog, for me are 'Coming soon'.
I have been trying for days to get coPilot to do per-row text analysis, as chatGPT as been able to do for well over a year. Frustrated because CoPilot was making a complete hash of it, I did some googling and found this training presentation from Microsoft itself, which demonstrates doing precisely what I was looking for, but which didn't work for me. I contacted MS support and the very helpful rep there has been helping me try to get this to work, has tried my data on copilot on his machine etc - we all have the same problem.
So now, from this blog, and this blog alone, I discover that this feature is not available in Excel.
For those interested, with a lot of effort, you can get standalone Copilot365 to get somewhere close but with so many bugs, glitches and inconsistencies that you'd probably be quicker doing it manually. In fact, on several occasions Excel CoPilot itself has kindly told me how I can do text analysis by hand.
Tip for Microsoft, when advertising or demonstrating or training on features in your products, if those features are not available, please tell people.
