AlbertoP One issue I find with provisioning mailboxes from the on-premises organization is the delay introduced while waiting for the mailbox to be created after the on-premises remote mailbox has been created/enabled makes it difficult to script the provisioning of accounts. We need to apply department-specific configuration changes to the mailboxes that have to be done directly on the mailbox itself, not the remote mailbox object. An example would be department-specific retention policies. This would basically require two scripts...one to create/enable and configure the on-premises object and one that you'd have to run later (sometimes hours later) after the mailbox has been created. If I license the account and run a provisioning script after the mailbox has been created, everything gets completed in one shot.
