Finally got the nerve to enable Extended protection on my 3-node cluster, the script ran fine and without any errors and the health check script showed everything green after that. But Exchange powershell stopped working on one of the nodes, and when I disable Extended Protection on the Exchange Back End Powershell virtual directory it starts working again. So now I know where the problem is, but how do I fix it?
Any ideas of where to start the troubleshooting regarding this issue of Extended Protection on the Powershell back end virtual directory?
Update 9th Dec 2022, well, it turned out to be an "easy" one. The IIS binding on the Exchange backend was set to the servers IPv4 address but it should be set to "All Unassigned".
