How about a macro, or some code to SELECT a backward compatible SMB or security settings until the NAS vendors or the poor consumer can find the time to be POKEing and PEEKing and cracking config and device profiles and find the hidden technical door and saying Rumpelstiltskin? What next I have to modify the machine code on my Buffalo NAS box?

THANK GOD, the roll back function still works........ I gotta dig up my NT or Windows 98 disks and 3.1 floppies, and stop letting Microsoft ruin my working and perfectly fine environment.
