This is absolutely NOT an ideal process for device enrollment for smaller business, especially with current hardware shortages.
My organization has been forced to buy laptops from multiple manufacturers where we can, and we're small enough that we only buy in small amounts every few weeks.
This does not allow us to benefit from autopilot automation, and instead we ship Windows 10 Pro devices directly to our users all around the country and ask them to log in with their organizational account, but we still don't want personal devices being enrolled.
I just don't understand why this would still be considered a BYOD scenario, when manual enrollment after setup of a local user or personal Microsoft account should be the only scenarios recognized as "Personal" devices.
