I was aware of that, but the problem is we don't receive hardware hashes for new devices, and Intune is used for the entirety of provisioning. We don't use a custom image, or even remove devices from the box before they go to the end user. I'm not sure when/where we would ever get the hardware hash, and it's not like we can get them from Amazon or Best Buy when forced to buy at the consumer level.
I understand that by Microsoft's definition, that would constitute a personal device. I just think it's a short-sighted definition and process, and using an organizational account should bypass the personal-device block policy, especially since devices enrolled that way are set to corporate automatically after enrollment anyway.
