This comment echoes the comments of so many others. This new "solution" has created at least 2 seriously damaging issues:
1 - We have numerous Forms, and numerous users that depend on the responses synced to Excel for their work. It has been terrible to learn that an owner has to manually open each Excel file for it to update (unless we switch to a Power BI solution which is not currently viable for our situation).
2 - To add insult to injury, the owner of all our Forms is a SharePoint group. As others have pointed out, this means we cannot even update these Forms to the new "solution"!
This has been so damaging & stressful, and the clock is ticking. It seems that we have about 1 week until Microsoft shuts off the old functionality, and we'll be left with no choice but to re-create EVERYTHING. This is a disaster. 😩
