LibertyMunson and Julian_Sharp
Hi Liberty and Julian - thanks for the update!
I suspect that this MB280 certification will eventually replace MB210 (Sales) and MB220 (Customer Insights Journey/Marketing) as an eligible certification to gain points in the Skilling section for
(a) Microsoft Partner - Solution Designation "Business Applications"
(b) Microsoft Partner - D365 Business Applications - Specialization Sales.
As of today, Solution Designation and Specialization Sales ONLY list MB-210 and MB-220 as eligible certifications, MB-280 is NOT an eligible certification! HOWEVER, we know that MB210/220 will retire end of 11/2024 (new exams, renewal until end May 2025)
It appears that Microsoft has no answer - for more than 9 months! - how changes in the certification program will impact partner status.
This is leaving partners in the dark, hindering us to communicate changes to partner status related to D365 skills in a professional manner to our epmployees.
Could you please find out and clarify for the partner community? Who will know?
Ralf
