In Teams I can add cloud storage links to Teams Channels to allow me to create handy links to other Teams channels for easy user navigation.
The result is a folder linkthat allows users to quickly navigate from the Files tab on one Teams channel to the Files tab of other channels in the Teams site.
Here is an example:
Here I have used the + Add Cloud Storage option to link this Teams Files library to the files tab of a Shared Teams Channel (called New Shared Channel)
By clicking on the link, users are taken to the Files Tab of the other channel with one click and without leaving the menu bar of the general channel:
For reference: this is the Shared Channel accessed directly by clicking on the Channel, then clicking on the Files tab (notice the menu context is lost):
These links, then, provide a simple mechanism for users to be able to navigate around the Files stored in multiple Teams Channels without leaving the Files tab in the main Teams Channel (General channel)
It’s supported in all types of channels except Shared Channels:
Default Channel (General😞
Standard channels
Private Channels
But NOT Shared Channels:
