MicrosoftI hate to say it but Apple script support may never come. Has no one been following this since the announcement of Project Monarch?
This is React Native wrapper with large chunks of Outlook.com inside rendered by the Apple system version of WebView. It’s largely web code so it’s hard to imagine that it’ll work well with Apple script in the near future. Maybe eventually the React Native bridge will have API hooks that can take advantage of Apple Script for MacOS or VBA in Windows. But I think that’s a ways off.
You might try to see if there are Outlook.com compliant AddIns to restore some functionality. But I’m staying put with the legacy version. It’s far more feature rich and far less ugly.
I swear they release an app that looks like a child’s toy on MacOS and folks swoon. Does this UI appeal to the MacOS users of Outlook? I don’t get it.
