- In an event where an org needs to allow more people to create SharePoint sites or pages, what is the official channel used today for them [end users] to reach out to admins?
We are in the process of developing organization wide knowledge and content management governance, so details are yet to be determined. At this time, we are unlikely to want personal page or personal site creation in the foreseeable future. We are just beginning a process to promote increased use of pages to deliver content in curated and controlled team and communication site hierarchies. Creation of these spaces will be managed by an org-wide evaluation and after the transformation would be requested through our service desk and evaluated. Training is yet-to-be developed but will likely be several shorter 30-minute sessions that cover both use, corporate governance, and corporate data security guidance. Any ability to access these functions we would want to provide through the use of security groups.
