Hi hello and happy Friday, MTC! As we approach the end-of-year holidays, I’m going to make some slight adjustments to the weekly recap schedule.

The next two recaps will come out on Thursdays (December 22 and December 29), and then I will resume my Friday posting the following week (January 6).

So, with that covered, let’s dive into what’s been going on in the MTC this week!

MTC Moments of the Week

Our MTC Member of the Week spotlight goes to SvenSieverding! A developer and consultant for SharePoint and Office 365, Sven has been a great help in the community this week, even getting a few best responses in the SharePoint forum! Keep it up, Sven!

We had another exciting AMA on Tuesday, December 13, with Microsoft Teams all about the new Sign Language View, an important step in improving accessibility for the Deaf and hard of hearing (D/HH) community. Big thanks to elisabeth-jones, JessieHwang, and csano for their time and expertise! If you missed the AMA, you can catch up right here and let the team know if you have any other questions over in the Microsoft Teams forum!

And over on the blogs, JessicaGuindi shared how you can simplify your Microsoft 365 deployment with guided checklists, training resources, and assistance from FastTrack onboarding specialists.

Unanswered Questions - Can you help them out?

Every week, users come to the MTC seeking guidance or technical support for their Microsoft solutions, and we want to help highlight a few of these each week in the hopes of getting these questions answered by our amazing community!

In the Teams forum, Marc_Medina_1305 is looking for a way to fix his Teams settings so that it’s sorted by Contacts rather than by Chat.

Meanwhile, over in the SharePoint forum, Brianna_Dang is turning to the MTC for help resolving an issue with column types when creating a new List from Excel.

Lastly, for this week’s fun fact… on this day in 1965, Astronauts Wally Schirra and Thomas Staffordmade Jingle Bells the first song performed in space! They played it on a harmonica and some bells while orbiting the Earth on the spaceship Gemini 6. Both of these instruments now sit in the Smithsonian!
