MTC Weekly Roundup - February 3

Good morning and Happy Friday, everyone! We had a busy week here in the MTC, so let’s jump right on in, shall we?

MTC Moments of the Week

Our MTC Member of the Week spotlight this week goes to Rodrigo_! Rodrigo has been an active participant in the Excel forum since joining the MTC in November, and we’re happy to have you here helping the community!

Diving into February, we had a week packed with community events this week.

First up, on Monday, we had our AMA for Microsoft Entra Permissions Management, giving MTC’ers the opportunity to ask questions and voice feedback with the team. Shout out to everyone who joined and, of course, our expert panel: sophialpandey, singhanmol, SteveBall, lauraviarengo, and HanitaE! 

Then on Tuesday, to close out January, we had an event double feature, starting with a new episode of Unpacking Endpoint Management – “The future of app management in Intune” featuring the dynamic duo SteveThomas and Danny_Guillory, along with guests mandarchen and Roy_MacLachlan from the Microsoft Intune and Windows engineering teams. Next, we had a Windows Server AMA to discuss tips for diving into cloud learning for Windows Server professionals, covering certifications, available training options, and more! We had an engaging Q&A thanks to our panel of Windows Server and Azure experts: ViniciusApolinario, Julio_Cruz, thomasmaurer, and OrinThomas. If you missed the event, you can still watch this video to get Microsoft experts’ point of view on certifications and other training topics that may be relevant to you and your team!

Lastly, over on the blogs this week, Mark-Kashman shared a helpful article on the various ways you can create lists using Microsoft 365 apps, including Microsoft Lists (of course), SharePoint, and Teams! I, for one, LOVE a good list to keep me organized 😊

Every week, users come to the MTC seeking guidance or technical support for their Microsoft solutions, and we want to help highlight a few of these each week in the hopes of getting these questions answered by our amazing community!

In the SharePoint forum, wookiecookier23 is looking to the MTC to help understand why their SharePoint site isn’t displaying the latest webpart file viewer link when users click the ‘back’ button,

Meanwhile, over in the Bookings forum, Helpme99 is unable to sync Bookings with their Outlook calendar due to a role issue. Have you encountered this before?
