I was running 2311 and was prompted to update to 2410. Had the following issues:
- The installer would only run the express setup so I was unable to choose how it was setup
- Express setup defaulted to:
- HTML Form Login, after install I was unable to login with my Windows Credentials. I don't know what credentials I was supposed to use
- Allow access to any computer (no thanks!)
- WinRM over HTTP. We enforce WinRM over HTTPS
- Install updates automatically. We are old enough to know not to trust updates from Microsoft!
- Since it wasn't working after install I chose to try reinstalling, this time I was given the choice to use a custom setup and configure the thing how I needed to.
- Reinstall at least got the service configured and running as I needed it to, but the PowerShell cmdlet Import-Connection wouldn't work. I kept getting a converttoJSON error
- Attempting to connect to any computer wouldn't work
- The install leaves 2311 behind
2410 is a hot mess. I uninstalled it.
