I run multi-boot systems with Linux, Windows 7, Windows 10 LTSC and the latest version of Windows 10 Pro. I have an ongoing daily comparison between them. Windows 7 is still superior. Windows 10 LTSC 2019 is a close second because it more closely resembles Windows 7 in terms of functionality, performance, and lack of bloatware payload of useless rubbish. Cortana and Store aside, every version of Windows 10 that followed 1809 has carried changes that I do not care for, and each release of feature updates brings more bloat, reduced performance, and undesirable changes in functionality. True to form, 2004 and 20H2 are the least desirable versions of Windows 10 and I do not plan to update to the next version of LTSC that is based on 20H2 or later. The irrational push to replace Control Panel with Settings is appalling to me. Settings is inferior as it is more cumbersome and inefficient. The only thing that keeps me from moving completely to Linux is the plethora of Windows-based software that I want to use, but doesn't run on Linux and has no suitable equivalent replacement in Linux. There is nothing about Windows 10 that I find compelling enough to want to use it otherwise.
