Middle Mouse for New Tab
The desired behavior is for links in Bing's results to open in the current tab with left click, but in a new tab with middle mouse. This doesn't seem to be achieved by the Settings>More>Search>Results>"Open links from search results in a new tab or window" since this setting changes both behaviors to one or the other. Until recently the behavior was as desired. Was the feature removed or am I missing some way to configure it?

Bing support has been ignoring me for the past 9 months, repeatedly sending the same response: "The submitted URL is known to Bing but has some issues preventing indexing. We recommend following the Bing Webmaster guidelines to increase your chances of indexing." I discovered the issue and fixed it, but even after a long time, the site still hasn't been indexed. I have tried all the methods multiple times to speed up indexing, but it didn’t work. Bing is connected, but Bing bots refuse to crawl the content.
25 year old website disappeared from Bing
Hello, Our brand website has ranked fairly well on Bing since Bing first opened. The site has existed since the year 2000. It has usually/often ranked #1 for the brand name and closely associated terms. We often had a full array of image and page links accompanying our listing even when that listing was not #1. Recently we've noticed that our top ranking home page & category pages have all disappeared from Bing and only a handful of deeper, somewhat obscure pages of the site are showing up & they are ranking very poorly (round page 3-5) with no image or page links accompanying. I've gone through Bing Webmaster Tools (and many other tools) and the site is healthier than ever, nearly 100% scores across all metrics, zero errors, very few warnings or suggestions. The site is modern, responsive, updated regularly & recently etc. I can't figure out why our normally top-ranking pages seem to have been purged from the results and only more obscure pages are coming up at all. The pages seem to be indexed, just not showing up anywhere anymore. Any Insights would be greatly appreciated.. Hey everyone, I’m facing a frustrating issue with Bing, and I could really use some help. My website suddenly disappeared from Bing’s index for no apparent reason. There are no warnings, no manual actions, and no crawl errors in Bing Webmaster Tools. I’ve already reached out to Bing support four times, but I haven’t received a single response. At this point, I don’t know what else to do. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get Bing to reindex the site or how to actually get a response from their support team? I have submitted my application for Bing PubHub for my website on August 10, 2024. My application status is still marked as "Awaiting for Approval", and despite multiple follow-up emails, I have not received any updates or responses. I have made sure that my website meets all the necessary guidelines for Bing PubHub, including high-quality, original content. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or advice on how to proceed in this situation. Has anyone else faced similar issues, and if so, how did you manage to get your application reviewed? URLs in sitemap automatically changed to lower case
I am constrained by Bing webmaster which automatically changes all url writing to lowercase in the sitemap (in the .xml file I have written it correctly. this happens to all my pages that use the zh-Hans (Chinese simplified) and also zh-Hant (Chinese traditional) language versions. for example: mysite.com/zh-Hans/database/profile/2001/ Bing changes it to mysite.com/zh-hans/database/profile/2001/ in the end the index status of all these pages becomes canonicalized. does anyone have a way to overcome this?

I have made plenty of searches on Bing today. However, it only partially rewarded my initial search efforts, and further searches did not reward any points. For example, I'm currently capped at 20 out of 50 points as of Feb 13, 2024. The same thing happened in the last few days, when I got capped at 20 out of 50 points for those days as well. I am a long time user of Bing. This is the first time I've encountered this issue.Bing won't Index My site.
I have been trying in vain for the last month to get my site indexed by Bing. The site has a robots.txt, has a sitemap and is indexed by Google. I've used IndexNow, I have followed the Webmaster Guidelines, which by the way is some sort of bible that they just throw at you in case they can't index you. They don't give me any specific reason as to why...simply and confusingly they just say, The inspected URL is known to Bing but has some issues which are preventing indexation. We recommend you to follow Bing Webmaster Guidelines to increase your chances of indexation. I have reached out to Bing Webmaster Support on several occasions and I get the automated reply. This is so insanely frustrating and I've seen it on thread after thread that others have experienced the EXACT same issue. Why does Microsoft ignore this issue and not help users who are experiencing the same issue? I've seen threads just like this get shut down but I'm going to raise the question again in hopes that someone can help.

I don't know how to get rid of this notification. I've been using bingwallpaper app on my macbook for quite some time but as of recently this pop up keeps happening. It doesn't matter if I click allow or dont' allow it eventually pops back up at some time. I even gave the bing wallpaper app full disk access and it keeps happening. I've removed the application and installed it again but it keeps happening. I'm on macOS 15. Is there anyway I can rectify this?

Hi I have problem with bing webmaster. Most of my site URL's including the root domain having error when I request "URL Inspection". I have search many times, read different articles including Bing Help forums but didn't find a possible solution. Please some one help me regarding issues. For further tests I am including my site URL TechSAA . My speed speed is Good as you can check on speed testers. Here is the image I am using "Bing Webmaster Url Submission" plugin with API access. I don't know why Bing webmaster is sending this error. While Google webmaster have no errors and indexing all of my site pages. I am not a technical person so please help me, if you can recomend any WordPress Plugin to solve my problem. I am also using Cloudflare (Cloudflare firewall) and Youst (Youst Indexnow). I am waiting for best help. Thank you Very much.

Hello! Our pages descriptions are displayed with what looks like wrong encoding in organic search results. like this: This error seem to be across the board across different page types but yet completely random. I checked Bing's webmaster tool and discovered pages in question are indexed incorrectly The pages use standard UTF-8 charset so I am at loss what could be causing this issue. Has anybody had the same issue and how did you solve it? What else should I check on my site? Thank you.
