I am having the same problem. I tried going to a different sheet and back. But I still could not get excel to select the cell I clicked. I have had this issue on different workbooks. I never had this issue before I got Windows 11. So I think microsoft messed up something that used to work!!!

MitzieB My employer now plans to try a full rebuild of the laptop / new Windows installation. I have to back-up some data and use a spare unit (minus some of my custom settings), a major inconvenience, yet again.
An absolutely disgraceful bug, and appalling this hasn't been resolved.
- mdough_idsMay 23, 2023Copper ContributorTell your employer it probably won't fix it ... tell him to complain to Microsoft, especially if he is paying for Office 365 subscription. If he can demonstrate it, maybe they will believe it is really an issue. Most of us have been trained not to bother to report these things, but this will be more effective than rebuilding the laptop.
- VanheemsMay 23, 2023Brass ContributorThanks for your support and I completely agree with you. It feels like the response to reported bugs is so arrogantly pathetic, people end up almost brainwashed not to report them. And I know this is the case, because some of the most annoying issues I'm encountering are also present for colleagues, but I find they don't report them at all. The notorious jumping cursor syndrome (known issue for about 20 years now), for example.
