Aliasses not showing up in Outlook (classic)
Hello,
We have a little issue with aliasses that are configured for some users. New configured aliasses are not shown in Outlook (classic); aliasses that are added in the past are visible.
When I use OWA, the new alias is also visible. And also in the offline addressbook the properties are up to date.
How can I trigger Outlook to synchronize the new added aliasses?
Kind regards,
Arjan

Hello Diane_Poremsky_MVP VasilMichev
Thanks for replying on my post!
I was searching for the new added aliasses under the "Other email address..."-option, the option in the From-button menu.
The last few days only earlier added aliasses in Exchange Online were shown there. But since yesterday the newly added addresses are in the list as well. So it had a long sync time, it takes a week.
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Arjan If the alias is enabled for sending in Outlook on the web (Settings > Mail > Compose & Reply), it will show up in classic but you need to restart outlook. Note: there are some sync issues between the settings in new Outlook and Outlook on the web - the changes I made in web are not showing in new Outlook but synced to classic after restarting it.
If you are using an older build, you may need to remove the account from Outlook and add it back.
Where exactly in Outlook are you checking? If they are shown in the OAB, you should be able to use any of the aliases for sending messages to the user.
For the profile card, data is fetched via the Graph API/Entra ID, so there might be some discrepencies.
