We have fixed this issue by changing the active sync certificate setting under virtual directories to ignore Clientcertificates.
It looks like something is going wrong with some certificates in the mobile app.
After this change we didn't experienced any issues with the mobile apps.See screenshot. (its in dutch language)

Johnson1234 Thank you so much! That has fixed the issue for us as well.
- Thank you. This setting was already set to ignore, i tried a toggle to accept and now back to ignore but have a feeling it wont solve our problem.
