Win10 Laptop MFA?
Does Microsoft have any short-term plans to support Windows 10 laptop MFA through a smartphone app instead of relying on biometrics/smart cards through Windows Hello, to support CMMC compliance? Or should we look to other vendors, such as Cisco's Duo offering?
MichaelKing we are working on something that would meet the needs you describe leveraging FIDO2. The end result would indeed allow you to use the Authenticator app on your phone for the MFA portion by leveraging the FIDO credential provider. Unfortunately I cannot give you an exact timeline other than to say it's being worked now.
