Mind boggling that this is STILL an issue. Editing categories in group mailboxes should be basic functionality. If anyone at Microsoft could provide an update that would be much appreciated.

It's implemented in VirtoCalendar. The release is coming in January 2024 (at least we planned). You can finally manage and use this simple and valuable feature for your groups.

SergiVirtoI'm not sure I understand. When viewing the Group Calendar (Created through sharepoint) It only gives me the options to choose the default colors. If I create a category through my personal inbox (app) it defaults that category to grey when viewing online (in the group calendar). In the image below it shows that I am unable to add a new category.
