No copying existing plans in new Planner?

In the old Planner I could copy an entire Plan en reuse it with new dates and everything. In the new Planner I can't seem to find a possibility to copy an existing plan. I'm at a total loss here... am I supposed to create a new plan similar to earlier plans every time? How is this feature removed? Anyone any ideas where to find it?

I've found that when I copy a plan now it strips out the labels and task descriptions - there surely must be a way to copy the whole plan as previously?

  • Try this:

    • Go to the Planner Hub: Open Planner from the Microsoft 365 portal.
    • Select the Plan: Click on the plan you want to copy.
    • Click on the Three Dots: In the top right corner of the plan, click on the three dots (ellipsis) menu.
    • Choose "Copy Plan": From the dropdown menu, select "Copy Plan".

Unfortunately, this was the way to do it in the old Planner. That's not possible anymore. I just found it is only possible to copy a plan if you share it with a group. Then you can go to the menu (arrow) next to the name where you find 'Copy plan'. It is no longer possible from My Plans (the old Hub).
