Organization-wide calendar (alternative to room calendar)
What would be an easy way to distribute a common calendar to all members of the organization?
Sometimes you want a separate calendar where each person can mark their events, instead of other people checking each individual's calendar separately.
The room calendar does this to some extent, but it takes too long to implement, so it would not be desirable to implement it (Send on behalf access rights sometimes take days to take effect).
What other option do you recommend?
The only requirement is that the calendar must be displayed in Outlook (desktop version and web).
- Create a global calendar, valid for all the users
You can refer to this article to create a public group: Create a group in the Microsoft 365 admin center, after that, you can manually add all users to this group or end user can manually search and join this group on their end
