iPhone 16 devices reporting as iPhone in portal
In our tenant, the new iPhone 16 device model name is showing "iPhone" when it should be the full device model name.
Anyone have similar experience and / or know if MS are working on this?
we are having the same issue also MarkG1605

Hope you are doing well,
I wanted to provide an update regarding the issue with Intune not recognizing iPhone 16 devices correctly. This is a known issue, and it is expected to be resolved in November 2024.
Currently, the device model identifiers for Apple devices do not include the iPhone 16, which may be why it is only listed as "iPhone" in Intune.
