Agent not visible in M365 Copilot
I created an agent in M365, including its name, description, instructions, and required actions. The agent is properly tested in Copilot Studio and published, but it is not visible in the M365 Copilot agent list. Interestingly, one agent is visible while the other is not, and I am unable to determine the issue.

Hey, if you built it in Studio, did you extend the Microsoft 365 Copilot (declarative agent) or did you create a custom agent?
Option 1: If you used the option to extend the Microsoft 365 Copilot:- Go to Copilot Studio
- Select Agents
- Select Copilot for Microsoft 365
- Select your published agent
- Under Publish details, select Availability options
- Select Copy
- Paste the URL into a web browser which will take you Teams to install your agent. Then it should appear on the right of your Copilot Business Chat where you can pin it.
- Here's some documentation for more details: Publish and Manage Copilot Studio Agent Builder Agents | Microsoft Learn
Option 2: If you just created a custom agent, this won't appear in Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat, it'll appear as a custom app.
- Go to Copilot Studio
- Select Agents
- Select your published agent
- Select the Channels tab
- If you just want it in Teams, select Microsoft Teams (you may need to Turn on Teams if you haven't already done so)
- Select Open Agent which should take you through the process of installing it as an app for yourself on the left side of Teams. You could also share with others through the Availability options

Can we add Topics to the agents created made using Option 1? Because I can't find the option to add topics to these agents. While in custom agents, there is a section to add topics

Unfortunately not. You’ll need a custom agent for topics.

Hi HelloBenTeoh,
Thanks, this was very useful. Using your Option 1, everything worked as you stated. However, the only way I can get the agents menu (and the specific agent created) to be shown in the Copilot Business Chat is if I go through the URL link created for sharing.
If I login into Microsoft 365 and then go to Copilot, the Copilot Business Chat will not show the agent menu. Do you know why and how to fix that?
Thank,
Guillermo
