File Share Connector Indexed Results Not Appearing in Copilot Results.
When attempting to use the file share connector, the results are not appearing in copilot, though they do appear in the search vertical, and I am able to check user access and see that I have access to them. The staged rollout includes myself. I did my best to follow https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftsearch/fileshare-connector in the setup of the connector. Does anyone have a though of why it would not show results in Copilot?
This does work, I tested this about 6 months ago. The issue I had was that it can't find the data in the file, it can only give you the file link when you ask about the file connected. The machine where the file is located must me running and the share should be reachable. I found the usefulness of the feature from a copilot perspective to be less than adequate.
If your prompt is looking for data in the file, it will not return via copilot, or at least it didn't for me.,
