Client names not showing in appointment titles on calendar
Many of our team are experiencing this issue, and it just hit me today too - the booking appointment on our Outlook calendar no longer shows the customer's name in the title. It still shows in the appointment if opened but not in the appointment title.
Major productivity issue - having to go into every single appointment to see who is next on your appointment list, rather than just a quick glance.
Anyone have a fix?
- Microsoft has stated to me the code change that caused the issue has been reverted. Should start to see issues resolved on new appointments, existing ones may still have issues.

I have the same problem, and I don't see the details in the appointment details either.
I don't see the customer's email in the attendees either.

Hi,
I am not sure if there is a fix, but we use Power Automate to send an email to the staff member with details regarding the:
Appointment date, time, customer name and the custom question and answers.
This seems to resolve our issue.
Kind Regards - Flo_D405Copper ContributorHello,
I am also experiencing the same problem. I'm waiting for Microsoft's fix. To be continued... - Patti120Copper Contributor
I put in a support ticket with Microsoft on this issue last week and was told that it was removed by design on the last Booking release.
- bbeauchampCopper ContributorI've had a support ticket in for a couple of weeks and they've told us that it broke with changes to Bookings and are working to fix it.
- Leon_van_der_ZandenCopper ContributorThen they should bring it back asap. This is a breakdown of the usability of the booking tool.
- C4BackupCopper ContributorI don’t get why it still works if you go in and update it manually?

I attempted to update it manually. The name still did not appear in Outlook for me. C4Backup

calculuscat we are having the same issue now too. Have it to manually refresh until Microsoft fix the issue 🙈
- Robin_NogueCopper ContributorI'm having the same problem. It started with the last meeting of today and is present on all future meetings. I've recreated the services, tried different fixes to no avail. Manually refreshing every meeting in the bookings calender does work but is very time consuming. Hopefully it will get fixed on microsoft's side soon.

3/12/24 Having this issue. Only one booking of 6 with the same service has shown the name. I tested the length of the name, settings, and many other troubleshooting fixes. Nothing is working to get the name to show up. It makes it look like admin is doing something different and we can't change it at all. calculuscat

TarynKeeler I had a call with a Microsoft engineer earlier this week and they also were able to reproduce the issue on their end and are currently working on it. Hoping they have it fixed soon.
- MycetismCopper ContributorIt simply never did work on our side. The frustrating thing is : If you reschedule the meeting : It will work, you will have the name of the service + the name of the customer. If you manually refresh the event in the booking calendar it really does work but that's inefficient... I am trying to auto-refresh the meeting with the free Zapier plan...
- Monique_HCCopper ContributorThis issue has returned for my team as well.
- bbeauchampCopper ContributorYep, this just started happening for us as well.
