Mac - Outlook : Attaching files, showing Date Added, not Date Modified!
Dear Techcommunity.Microsoft,
Had to get a new MacBook Pro (OS Monterey 12.2.1), and up-to-date Microsoft. When I go to attach a file (in Outlook for Mac version 16.59), it shows the files with "Date Added" rather than "Date Modified". I don't care 'when' I created them, I just want to know I am attaching the correct one, I.E. the one I probably had just finished working on.
In Finder, the files DO show "Date Modified".
I'm sure it's probably something simple - but I have no idea.
Please be gentle, e.g. 1, 2, 3 type instructions - I'm no techie!
Do hope someone can help.
Best wishes, Pippa60

Wow this worked! Thanks, this is one of those annoying random things that has wasted so much of my as I try to find the right file or folder.

Try holding down the Control key and clicking in one of the column headers to select columns to display.
Voila! You can now sort by Date Modified:
