External storage for MS Teams videos

Most meeting recordings should be going to OneDrive, where each user has 5TB+ of storage included. I don't believe there's a way to get Teams to not record into OneDrive (standard meetings) or SharePoint (channel meetings). Maybe there could be some way to move the files after a period of time to another location (but the links in Teams chat for the meeting etc., would break).
