Can I Make Notifications to On For Newly Created Channels?

Is there a global setting where I can make it so that all users are defaulted to receiving notifications when posts are made in a channel? Now, when I create a new channel no users receive notificati...

    Hi Archmaster7,

    unfortunately, Microsoft Teams lacks a general setting to default notifications to 'On' for newly formed channels. Notification preferences remain user-specific and can solely be adjusted by individual users.

    There is a workaround you can use - you can @mention the channel name in each message. This will send a notification to everyone in the channel.

    To modify individual notification settings, users can click on ... next to the channel in their Teams list, then select More options, and then click on Channel notifications. They can choose Banner and Feed, Off, or Just Feed.
