'Copy Link' for Folder/Files does not work in Teams
When you access a document library using the website/SharePoint tab and click on 'copy Link' the dialog opens up and has a spinning circle constantly, doesn't load.

It works for me as well!!!
Strange thing is mine updated 8th of june but only today it workedYesterday I thought, how can this still be possible as I had this issue for a very long period of time
(opening the Team in SharePoint the copy link always did work as workaround)

Hi tclark_mpg
Do you possibly have any update on this matter as I am still affected by this issue. I am currently using the workaround of opening SharePoint Online and copying the link from there but would really love for this to be resolved.

Sorry but going to https://teams.microsoft.com, and loading the Web app version of Teams, going into the specific Team --> Channel -- Files --> copy link.. does not work. It still just throws out a xxxdomain.sharepoint.com URL site.
Looks to me that the problem is not client based, but rather TEAMS logic based.
It would seem that all requests for links, just point to sharepoint, and no longer to Teams.
- Canadian_CathyApr 08, 2022Copper ContributorThank you! I've found the advisory and have set up a notification for changes. Fingers crossed they fix it soon; there are two of us in my org that are impacted, that I know of.
