File upload in 'Teams' tab works but not in 'Chats' tab

We're slowly migrating our Teams accounts because of a name change and i seem to have lost the ability to upload files to chats. I can however upload still in the teams tab.

 

Our onedrive works fine as far as i can see but every time i try to log in on onedrive via teams i get the following error:

 

'Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource. Scenario ID: 1157'
Colleagues which seem to have the same account on azure are able to upload however. Could this be a caching issue or something else?
If the error message is correct, where would the manager be able to find the setting to change this?

    Not sure I understand the scenario here, what exactly did you migrate, and what do you mean by "same account on azure"? If someone's account (UPN) was renamed, this can potentially have impact on the ODFB drive (where files get uploaded in chats), but I'm not sure if this fits the scenario you described above.
