How secure are emails sent to a Teams channel?

The email functionality is fairly limited, so I'd advice caution here. Moreover, the way messages sent to a Teams channel are routed is sort of a "black box", you will have no visibility on how those messages are being processed and even less control over which policies will take effect. Use a regular mailbox, shared mailbox or the Microsoft 365 Group for the team instead.
