MTR update strategy

Hello!

Just a quick one regarding MTRoW update strategy:
1. Say I have a lot of MTRs on my local network. Do they fetch all the same updates at the same time during the nightly service window
OR
do they fetch it from each other to somewhat minimize update traffic.

2. Due to MTRs being a little special, is it a good idea to bring them under WSUS control?
