Scheduling Meetings in Private Channels
Hi, Can anyone confirm this this works, or indeed doesn't? I can't seem to schedule meetings into Private Channels, but can't find if this should actually work. Thanks,

Currently, you can't schedule meetings in private channels.
As stated in the article

We're continually adding capabilities to private channels so check back for the most up-to-date information regarding apps, channel meetings, and scaling private channels for large teams
You can however do meet now's in private channels

Private channels are designed to limit visibility and access to a specific group of members within a larger team or organization. While you can communicate and collaborate within private channels, scheduling meetings within them is not a built-in feature.
However, you can still schedule meetings and coordinate with members of a private channel by using alternative methods. Here are a few suggestions:
Share meeting details in the private channel: Inform the members of the private channel about the meeting details by posting a message with the date, time, and agenda in the private channel. This way, everyone in the channel can see the information and plan accordingly.
Use integrated calendar tools: Most communication platforms offer integrations with popular calendar applications like Google Calendar or Outlook. You can create a calendar event in your preferred calendar tool and share the meeting invite link or details in the private channel.
- Not really good enough - if I want a meeting with a restricted audience and want the recording then available later this should be a way to do things - to set the meeting up in A private channel.
I am trying to drive the use of Teams outside of CHAT within my organisation and this is just another kick in the teeth!Andy OwenTotally agree. Stupid not to have the ability to schedule in private channel.
