Spell check broken in new Teams 2.0 client
Greetings, we have about 100 users running Teams 2.0 and a handful of users, myself included, are seeing issues with the spell check. It will work for maybe 10 minutes, maybe a hour, maybe a day or two, but eventually will stop working. It will no longer flag misspelled words.
The only fix is to reset the app/cache. Rebooting, uninstalling does fix it.. Just a cache reset. Once we do that, it starts working again, for 10 minutes, maybe an hour, who knows. But it will always fail again.
Has anybody else seen this?

- ainganniCopper Contributoradding the same, spell check works in classic teams, but not in the new client. also seems like you cannot use the old client without constantly being bugged to switch.
- BrianLSmithBrass ContributorI'll add us to the chorus of "does not work here." It was already wonky before this with the bizarre suggestions. I have no idea why they just don't use the same spell check module they have in Outlook or Word! Why do they need something new and different when the others work fine?

Yep , same here , "classic" works - "new" Teams does not
Also cleared cache, switched it on and off again, uninstalled etc .

Spell check is checked in the settings menu - I have unchecked and rechecked the box.
Restarted TEAMS, ended the process, restarted my whole system.

- 365LearnerCopper ContributorOn Teams Windows desktop app version 1.0.1 the spell check is not working, the visible symptom is no red underline of misspelled words.
-I flip back to the old version of Teams and it works
-In version 1.0.1 I've tried clearing cache, disabling then restarting Teams then re-enabling and starting Teams.
-THIS IS A DEALBREAKER, I will go back to old Teams which I don't like as much to have spell check working.
