Status does not update (New Teams)
Hi, We've been testing the new Teams before we roll it out more widely. We have noticed that your status does not update consistently with the new Teams, as in, here is one scenario as an example ...

I am adding to this thread as well. We are also experiencing this issue (Enterprise) with the New Teams app. Works on reboot for a while, but after an hour or joining a call - the statuses stop updating.
I reported it to Microsoft as well and they told me they were not aware of the issue. They told me to adjust the privacy settings in Skype for Business. I am not sure why this would be a factor given it worked just fine in Classic Teams app and web. It is primary impacted for users who have moved to the New Teams app.

mvinson We do not use Skype or Skype for Business and have the same problem, so I don't see how it's related.

DaveTheTeamsGuy - good to know. I don’t see how it’d relate to Skype either as we have never used it here.
I’ll continue to report it to them so they understand it’s a big deal to have presence no accurately updating.
