Status does not update (New Teams)

Having the same issue at our organization. There was a suggestion on another forum to check the box under Settings for "Register new Teams as the chat app for M365", but that doesn't work for us as the box is not able to be checked. Found others with this issue as well. So, another bug in new Teams.
- DaveTheTeamsGuyNov 14, 2023Iron ContributorWe had the issue with the Register new Teams as chat app check box issue as well. I was able to resolve that by doing a full uninstall of both new Teams and classic Teams, reinstalling classic Teams, and opting-in to the new Teams experience.

I believe I tried this and it worked in New Teams for about a day… then back to not working correctly.- DaveTheTeamsGuyNov 15, 2023Iron ContributorIt has stayed checked since I did the uninstall / reinstall, but I just unchecked it and it would not check again. I restarted Outlook, presence was gone. I then hit the box in Teams, it blinked and stayed blank, but when I restarted Teams it came back checked, and when I restarted Outlook, presence was back. Definitely not working correctly.
