Status does not update (New Teams)
Hi, We've been testing the new Teams before we roll it out more widely. We have noticed that your status does not update consistently with the new Teams, as in, here is one scenario as an example ...
Same issue at our organization. We're having to roll back many to the old Teams. Not only are we seeing the status issue, but many people are also saying they have problems with calls. Sometimes users suddenly can't make any calls, and others say the ringer acts weird, like it keeps going even after you pick up a call. We spent several months testing the new client and things seemed good, so this is a major frustration. Appreciate those of you with Microsoft tickets keeping us informed.
Eric_H we’ve noticed a few things with the calling too. From what we’ve been testing it looks to be with things like the new Teams (1) dropping the + in front of the country code, (2) adding an extra +country code to the already present +country code, (3) when calling a contact created through the new Teams the new contact is created with two phone numbers, and calling the contact calls both numbers… these are all just speculation though but we have been able to identify how to replicate the three scenarios above.
