Teams status not syncing between mobile and PC
We are running teams in our office on our PC's and on our mobile devises mainly IOS, the issue is when i set my status to busy or answer a call from my mobile, my PC still show available. We are ...

Asbjornworsoe That should update after a couple of seconds, I tested now and after 10-20 seconds it updated the status on my PC.
If you check from another user can they see that your status updates?

- Aug 20, 2019The presence engine has a lag to it. As Linus pointed out it can take time something’s. They are working on updating this to be more real-time and a message center post was posted recently regarding an updated roll out. So hopefully this will straitened itself out soon

It's been well over 5 years since your post. Just wanted to let you know the problem is still happening, and worse than ever per my own experience. So I guess it's safe to say the issue never got "straightened out" yet.

They released a new presence engine quite a while ago. It's not perfect but it's worked way better. My phone instantly changes my status when placing calls from phone etc. Don't know if it's client issues using old clients or what on your end. But it definitely still has it's problems updating properly from time to time, especially when there is service issues going on.
- Terry_MayJul 21, 2020Copper ContributorSpoilerIs there any updates to this? I have Teams on Windows, Mac and iPhone. Windows 10 seems to have quite a lag in updating the status to match the others. Sometimes it is within a minute or so. Sometimes it seems like I have to make the Teams window on Windows 10 active before it updates the status.
