New Teams Client is crashing when Jabra Evolve 75 Headset is muted by putting the microphone up
We have a strange issue with the new Teams client.
When the Mic is put up, the headset is actually muting Teams. However, with the new Teams client, if the headset is put Teams crashes sometimes.
Teams crashes also reproducible if the mic is put up before joining a conference.
Anybody has the same problem or a solution for that?
The Evolve Headset is connected via a Jabra 370 USB dongle.

My Teams got an update today but I still have the issue with Teams crashing when muting/unmuting.
I'm now trying the workaround with deactivated softphone integration and hope for the best.Edit: Deactivated softphone integration does nothing for me 😐 I can still forcibly crash the client by muting/unmuting myself via the mic boom.
- Dustin_HalvorsonSteel ContributorMy problems seem to have disappeared today. Evolve2 75 and Link 380

I haven't been able to make it crash yet, using all the same techniques i did before to recreate the issue.- RodrigoGroenerCopper ContributorMy Teams was updated this morning. Since then, the problem seems to have been solved.
Microsoft Teams-Version 24004.1309.2689.2246.

EDIT: PROBLEM IS BACK. Using the dongle.
I suddenly have no problems occurring anymore. Not found the reason yet.
Switched back to old Teams. And stopped using the dongle. Still had issues on the new Teams.
Now I got auto-updated back to the New Teams and haven't had crashes in a day.
Need to check if Teams got an update or what is the reason for it to suddenly work again.Teams-Version 23335.232.2637.4844

- TinekeCCopper ContributorSame issues here and so far it doesn't appear anymore by not using the dongle. We only use the headphone with Bluetooth and then Teams stopped crashing.
- RayDilsonsCopper ContributorSame issue here with Jabra Eveolv2 75 using USB-C dongle

Same here with the Jabra evolve 75 and Dell 5430 and windows 10. I will try the public preview these days for the new teams, but i will use the old teams until this bug is fixed.
- amiga1200Copper ContributorHave the same problems with my Jabra Evolve 2 65 and New Teams. It crashes several times every day and it’s driving me and some collegues crazy.
My company has made the bad decision to enforce New Teams so I can’t go back to the old one either… - Anders_SmithCopper ContributorSame issue here. Jabra Evolve 75 and Dell 5430. Windows 11.
It does not help to un-install Jabra Direct. - PhilipHaglundCopper Contributor
Exactly the same problem here. I’m encountering the identical issue with my HP EliteBook 840 G9, Jabra Link 380, and Jabra Evolve 75 headset. Despite using Windows 11 23H2 with the latest patches and drivers directly from HP, the problem persists.
We’ve have an ongoing ticket with Microsoft Support, and they’ve requested event logs, msinfo32, and procdump logs. Interestingly, we’re not alone—over 20 users in our organization are experiencing this frustrating issue.
If anyone has found a solution or workaround, please share! 🙏 - Don_LassiniCopper ContributorHappens for me also. I could force the Teams client to crash by flipping the arm many times.
Uninstalling Jabra Direct 6.13.1801 "resolved" the issue for me.
I cannot revert back to the previous version I used (6.11) since I don't have the installer.
