Teams revert to regular version on start-up

Hi!

I have enabled the "Public preview" option and LOVE the combined chat/channel feature!

Anyways, once my computer has been switched off and I turn it on the public preview is "reverted", but if I restart Teams, it is available again - is that a known issue?

    In the app_settings.json file
    "C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams\app_settings.json"

    I set the  "public_preview": true, instead of false.

    The Public preview checkbox now seems to stay checked.

    Not sure with you but I have realized that the check only remains while the screen is active.  Exit and go back into the screen and the check box has reset.   We have been struggling with this bug since an update back in December.   Team has checked the settings around Public preview and everything appears to be correct.   We have had a second issue where Teams gets into a cycle of Updates and it appears to be based on this flag flipping from preview and out of preview.  Has become a real issue as we have a team outside of IT testing a number of the features and now they are at the point that they are requesting to stop testing.

    I'm also seeing this issue. I appreciate IanCraigen specificity in the version change where this occurred.

    The Early Preview checkbox does not stay checked, and then the update then bounces back.

    went from 25031.805.3440.5290 (R3.6) to 205017.203.3370.1174 (not listed in defconfig2 listing)
