Group emails not coming to my inbox
Hello,
I'm using the latest Outlook 365. Emails coming to a group that I'm a member is not coming to my inbox.
I want to use my inbox for all emails and I don't want to use groups.
Send all group conversations and events to members’ inboxes is checked.
What can I do?
Best regards

I work for an MSP, and one of our clients was having the same issue. I found that there is an option in the normal Microsoft Admin Centre that controls this.
- If you go to the group in the admin centre (https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?source=applauncher#/homepage)
- Expand Teams & Groups and select "Active teams & groups"
- find the group in question and open the properties
- Go to the settings tab
- There should then be a check box under Email saying "Send copies of team emails and events to team members inboxes". Checking this will fix the issue you are having

Right click on group and Open group in new tab
Click the three dots and select settings.
Select the Receive all emails and events in the Follow in inbox radio button. - Christian_JahnsenCopper Contributor
I had that problem too when I created a Microsoft 365 group - e-mails only went to the group folder in Outlook and not the Inbox - and unfortunately people didn't notice the messages in the group folder.
Solution: go to admin.microsoft.com and log in as admin (or instruct your mail admin to do this). Click Teams and Groups on the left. Click the group you would like to edit, and a panel opens on the right. Click the "Settings" tab and check the box "Send a copy of team mails and activities to team members' inbox" (I'm translating this from Danish, so the wording may not be 100% spot on). This solves everything for me, and mails sent to the group now appear in people's inbox. - vuppalapatiCopper Contributor

@Teqnkka
@Ellen McComishYou can edit the group settings.
- Go to the group folder in Outlook
- Click on three dots to go to Settings
- Click on 'Edit Group'
- Underneath Subscription Select the checkbox for 'Members will receive all group conversations and events in their inboxes. They can stop following this group later if they want to'
This provided the solution : https://sharepointmaven.com/how-to-properly-configure-microsoft-365-group-email-settings/
This worked for me.

ermanu From Outlook Online you can edit the group settings. There must be a way for Admins, to make this the default, but group owners can do this themselves.

ermanu, took me awhile when this happened to one of my staff members. First I had my staff member check in Outlook to make sure she could actually see the group at the end of her folder list. It was there and she was definitely in the group because there were hundreds of messages she had never seen. While in the group email, I found something under group settings on the ribbon. Under "Follow in Inbox" her "All Email and Events" was not checked. She checked it and problem is now solved. Hope this works for you!

Found another way is from admin center enable the "Send copies of group conversations and events to group members" in the group settings.
My group is created with Teams.

I've been experiencing this issue as well. I've setup a Team for one of our customers with four members (all now owners).
When the team was created I selected to subscribe all new members (which I have since disabled, saved, re-enabled, and saved again), but only the original owner received emails when emailing the Team.
I've checked Message Trace, and it shows 'Expanded' with the following message:
"The message was sent to the following group: [Team]@[domain].co.uk. Office 365 received the message and sent it to the group members."
When I the run a trace on the members it only shows as delivered to the original owner, with no mention of the message at all in the trace of the other members.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Ellen McComishI also had similar issues/questions and spoke to Microsoft Team support and found this is how O365 Groups behave. Back in 2017, it was behaving as we were all expecting, a copy of the message was delivered to sender's personal inbox.
But due to chaos on peoples mind and cleanup no of inbox replies massacre. They brought this change on purpose and more info can be found here on the below link:
Please live with this.
