Renewing our Legacy Gold Benefits
Dear community,
We are an Indirect Provider in CSP, currently having a "Legacy Gold Benefits" membership status expiring on early April 2024.
Following few Inspire 2023 sessions around the extension of Legacy benefits, we would like to ask you if there are any official announcement that we will be able to renew our Legacy Gold benefits for at least one more year, prior switching to Specialization. It is really critical strategic decison for us and we must have a concrete view on this.
Kindly let me know if more details required from my end to help you reply our query.

LicensingConcierge1 Your statement on on-premises software is true. These are not perpetual IUR licenses, thus are only allowed to be used while the Competency or Designation is active. But this is not the question I believe.
Question was related to if they're still able to renew their Legacy Competency in the future. And the documentation states that there's no plan to discontinue Legacy Competency renewals: Silver or Gold Membership - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn

Unfortunately not, based on the following documentation (in the link below), since Gold/Silver memberships are retired as of September 30, 2022.
You will not be able to use the on-premises software product licenses since the on-premises software product licenses included with legacy gold/silver benefits pack, the Solutions Partner designation, and the Microsoft Action Pack because they are not perpetual. You're entitled, and have the right, to use these licenses only during your membership.

Following other threads related to this topic including comments with MS official replies and based on this learn page your reply seem to be not correct, and so I have to disagree that we will not be able to renew our Legacy Benefits on our anniversary.
