Microsoft Partner Center Account Verification Issues - Steps Unresponsive
Hello fellow members,
I am currently facing an issue with the Microsoft Partner Center's account verification process, and I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a similar problem or if there's a workaround that I might have missed.
I have been trying to verify my account as guided by their official documentation (Verification Responses Guide). Here are the steps I followed:
- I went to Account Settings and clicked on the Legal Info, then clicked on the "Fix now" button as instructed.
- The next step mentions "In Account Verification, from Select document type to upload, select the type of document you want to upload for verification". This is where the problem lies. After Step 1, the "Account Verification" tab or option simply doesn't appear for me. It feels as though the process just halts there.
I tried to find a way around it, assuming maybe it's a browser issue or some temporary glitch, but multiple attempts yielded the same result. Through different browsers, different computers at different times. I also raised support tickets regarding this matter, but unfortunately, I haven't received any concrete responses yet. They only keep directing me back to the same steps that are unresponsive. And this has been over a month now and I kinda get stuck.
Has anyone here faced a similar challenge or has any insights on how I can proceed with this? I appreciate all the help and suggestions I can get.
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone figured this out? The website was super buggy and also very poor feedback on what they need to verify. Now the Fix Now is not available and also got the generic response of "You don't meet criteria but can't tell you why".
This is rediculous because I publish on apple and google app stores no issue.Has anyone tried completely deleting their account then re-trying, I'm afraid it will hold my LLC hostage and then I wont be able to try again. Also, not sure how to elevate a ticket, there is not help.

To Microsoft Corporation Leadership,
I'm reaching out to share my experiences and concerns regarding the verification process for Microsoft Partners. Our company, initially a Microsoft Partner in Brazil and now in the UAE, has faced significant challenges with this process.
Recently, I updated our company's address on the partner’s portal, believing it to be a straightforward, necessary step since our office had moved. However, this decision unexpectedly led to a series of complications.
Here's what happened:
1. After updating our address, our company account couldn't be verified. Despite providing all required documents, including our updated Trade License and Ejari (Dubai's official tenancy document), our application was repeatedly rejected. This left us puzzled and without clear guidance on what was missing or incorrect.
2. I opened a support ticket hoping for a resolution. Initially, it seemed promising when I received a response from support, but despite providing all requested documents again, the issue remains unresolved. The ticket is still open, and there has been no further communication from Microsoft’s end. This is particularly disappointing given Microsoft’s reputation and our role as partners, who are essentially advocates for their products.
In an era where AI and smart systems are expected to streamline processes, it seems that Microsoft could benefit from implementing more efficient and proactive internal systems. This would prevent such simple yet critical issues from becoming frustrating roadblocks for partners who should be focusing on understanding and selling Microsoft solutions.
Most concerning is the apparent lack of recourse or support options available to us. There seems to be no clear path to escalate the issue or seek clarification on what exactly is going wrong.
This isn't just our isolated experience; others within the Microsoft Partner community share similar frustrations. We hope by bringing this to your attention, steps can be taken to improve the process for all partners involved.
Thank you for considering our feedback.- GBRRRCopper Contributori think this is a very common problem for everyone now
- hungn1865Copper ContributorSomething that worked for us is to go to https://lookup.icann.org/en and put it in your business domain. If your domain provider is set to private mode, your admin name, business address, and business phone number will not show. You will need to set it to public mode and check if that matches your Partner Center's contact info.

VeryGood, I'm having an even more frustrating problem trying to get my account legal info verified. I didn't even get a "Fix Now" button that shows up and yet it says verification status is "Rejected". I've sent in a support request and responsed to an email from one of the support persons to send our LLC's Articles of Organization and receipt for our domain and CRICKETS. So I just finished sending in another support request.
MSFT is totally inept at managing this process.

This process did not work for me because it did not allow me to:
This was literally 5 minutes after I created a new support ticket and tried to upload different documents.
This is utterly ridiculous!!

UPDATE:
I've had a look into this more properly, there seems to be a type-error that is occurring, I've run this from a clean browser and session and basically there is a bug (likely due to a missing field on my profile), this would explain why many users are having this exact same issue. I've placed a HAR file and full video into my support ticket, but this explains why the page does not load.
See screenshot, I suspect others here are facing the same issue.Note I can't seem to get this past the L1 support who close the ticket off without reviewing video (provided in ticket - not here due to business info), screenshots or message.

The worst part about this is that I can't renew my action pack and now my email is being held hostage since I no longer have a license. I have emailed and created tickets multiple times and all I ever get is canned responses about verification failing and get sent to the MS documentation site. I've been a partner for over 15 years with no change of address and now I'm being dumped for unknown reason and can't talk to a real person. Fix it button no longer works as I've "used up all my tries" and from what I gather MS basically flies the middle finger at you after that. I need a phone number that will get me a real person but it's like Microsoft has hidden themselves on the internet and you can't even do a search that doesn't dump you were they want you.

RDuckwall3, did you manage to get the resolved, I'm facing same issue with no headway! It's very very frustrating
- VeryGoodBrass ContributorUpdate on my request.
I've raised a support request on this instance. Got told to try the steps they didn't work and they closed the request.
Despite providing the documents requested, Screenshots and Videos of it not working.
"Hence their is nothing pending from our side that's why we are closing this supporting Ticket." Despite sitting in their queue for weeks and it can't change.
Is there anyone from Microsoft who looks at this forum? - ISV_Or_NotCopper ContributorIt's not just you. I updated my business address and have frustrated with lack of verification ever since. A simple shift of location 2 suburbs away, and now I'm unable to renew my Action Pack subscription. No support, slow site, and extremely frusting process. As it stands, my subscription has expired because I've been waiting TWO MONTHS now. Of course linked to this was the O365 E3 license, so I'm also now getting notifications that my content will be removed due to no active O365 license. Trying to get support is like screaming in the void!

ISV_Or_Not It's a frustrating experience, as when I get a reply, it's canned and they haven't checked the attachments provided. Wish there was some way I could progress this

I had to use Edge browser to get the site to work properly.
I've been rejected on the verification process without any information on exactly why my verifying document wasn't accepted and I can't get anyone to call me without first getting the verification done. If they have tried calling they didn't leave a VM because I never answer 800 numbers unless I'm expecting a call.

RDuckwall3Yeah, I've tried Edge, Firefox and Chrome. And on both Windows and Mac. Even in a private/incognito browsing to remove headache of addons. I go to fix now and it won't give me the Account Verification
I suspect their is an issue on my account in the backend or something minor but need the support team to look and fix it up so I can appeal with the relevant documents.I'm stuck in that, I can't talk to people until the verification is done, but I am stuck for weeks/months in this verification process.
Even tried to delete and restart with no luck.
