Why is it so hard to get verified? | Microsoft Partner Center
We've been stuck at the "Employment Verification" stage in Microsoft Partner Center for what feels like forever. Despite countless attempts, multiple support tickets, and submitting every possible document, we're still not verified. We've meticulously rechecked every entry—domains, names, contacts, phone numbers—tried different combinations, and still, nothing.
Even setting up our account was a struggle. It took multiple days. Using a desktop was not possible at all, we had to use a mobile phone. We encountered countless bugs, had to delete, unlink, and recreate our Partner Center account multiple times.
We've been paying customers for years and have generally had great experiences with other Microsoft Support channels. Often, our support tickets were resolved within minutes! But now, with Microsoft Partner Center, it feels like an entirely different game. Even the Admin Center support team mentioned that the process is "more complicated."
We've been waiting for weeks, only to receive generic, unhelpful responses to issues that shouldn't even be problematic—they should be handled automatically. Why this process is so difficult? We have scheduled appointments and no one from Microsoft shows up. Other times we get calls from MS agents just to help us open another ticket. We have already received two emails claiming that our account is verified, only to find out that it is not. At some point it just gets ridiculous.
I see that we are not the only ones. We've read all the sad stories from others in the same situation. Does anyone have any more tips left that might help us finally get verified? We are on the verge of simply giving up.

I have the same issue and have been trying since Aug 23rd ... over three weeks. I won't rehash the entire discussion, but JillArmourMicrosoft, I understand that you may not be in charge of the Verification Team. But there must be somebody at Microsoft who is responsible for this team. And it would be of great service to Microsoft and all of the partners like myself and potential partners like RamiRamiRami to find the person that is responsible and have that person address the situation very quickly.
Please! Please! Please!

walter1265 They are aware of the situation, and I am told are working on solutions.
- norselabsCopper ContributorHow much longer is this going to take, is there any estimations? What’s the reason a company with a $3.248 trillion market cap can’t fix an issue that any startup would resolve in a day?

RamiRamiRami sorry for your issues here, as you can see there are MANY MANY partners in the same situation. I am not support or part of the verification team, I only manage the partner community, so I don't know much about the process.
What was the messaging support shared back to you after opening a ticket? Maybe I can pinpoint what is incorrect about your application.- RamiRamiRamiBrass Contributor
Thanks, JillArmourMicrosoft. We'll let everyone know as soon as we find the secret ingredient. But for now, we're still stuck
All sorts of documents got requested. Rental contract, domain invoices, business registration, extract from the commercial register, ids. We submitted these documents within minutes. Only to be asked for exactly the same documents again a day later.
We have received/sent around 50 emails since August 19.

I'm facing similar challenges like many other partners trying to join the Microsoft Partner Program. Despite providing all the necessary information, including profile details, email address, and legal documents, there's been a significant delay in the employment verification process.
It's disheartening to encounter such obstacles, especially considering that partners contribute significantly to Microsoft's success by delivering 97% of the solution and developmental services.
I urge Microsoft to streamline this process and improve response times. A more efficient and supportive experience would demonstrate their commitment to working collaboratively with partners and ultimately benefit their customers.
Let's share our experiences and advocate for a smoother partner onboarding process.
