Power Automate Assign Task Notification - Change Assigned by Name

I have a Power Automate Flow that reads answers from a Microsoft Form and assigns tasks to team members. They then receive an email that I assigned them a task. I don't want it to say my name but instead, something like Business Task Manager assigned you to a task. Is there a way to change this so it looks like that task assignments are not from me?

It's not possible to amend the notification. As tpmcafee said, you would need a new account or service account for this.

Hi, I use the Create a Task function where the email assignments are added which triggers a notification to the user from me. Would like to change the notification to have a generic assigner. Thanks

Hi tpmcafee , I tried to find a solution to assign a user without sending a notification (which would allow sending a custom notification), but unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to do so.

Regarding changing the header, I wonder if you could create a new account with the desired display name and use its connection in Power Automate to create or assign a user to a task.

Of course, someone else from the forum might have a better solution for this.
