In organizations that track task progress in Project Online using the Timesheet feature, there actually TWO types of approvals:
1. The designated Timesheet Manager for each resource will need to approve the weekly timesheet for each resource that reports to him/her. This approval is done on the Approval Center page, and approval is applied to each user's entire timesheet.
2. Regardless of whether timesheet are approved or not, the project manager of each project will see pending task updates for his/her team members on the Approval Center page of PWA. When the PM approves the pending task updates, the task progress will be entered automatically in the enterprise project associated with each set of pending task updates.
In the two scenarios above, there is no way to designate the Timesheet Manager to also be the project manager unless they are already the same person. Does that help? Let us know.

Is it possible to add a new column to the Timesheet Approval History view?
For example the date of approval? Right now I am seeing only these:
Resource Name; Timesheet Name; Period; Status; Total; Actual Total; Overtime Total; Non-Billable Total; Non-Billable Overtime Total.- Mar 04, 2024NeeOK940 --
No, that is not possible. The Timesheet Approval History view is a built-in view that cannot be edited by either your Project Online app admin or by the user. Sorry, but hope this helps- NeeOk940Mar 05, 2024Copper ContributorDale,
